Today we venture to the colossal Hoover Dam, an engineering marvel where you’ll walk atop the curving Art Deco crest and descend into the cavernous power plant, witnessing turbines roar to life and learning how this 1930s titan harnesses the Colorado River to illuminate Las Vegas and beyond.
